Programm hat eine Suchmaschine für URL-Adressen, Autosave, die Möglichkeit der Textformatierung, BDV Notepad unterstützt Shortcuts und erlaubt es, eigene Tastaturkürzel definieren. Es hat auch eine sehr gute Druck-Mechanismus.
